Jeff Pang
Jeff grew up in Mililani, Hawaii, where he attended the local high school. It was here that he was introduced to
the competitive sport of volleyball. While at Mililani High School, He helped lead his volleyball team to two
league championships. In both his Junior and Senior years of high school, Jeff was named as a player to both
the All League and All State teams.
After completing a successful career of high school volleyball, Jeff continued his volleyball experience at
the University of La Verne. While in college, he played as an outside hitter and a defensive specialist. Jeff
helped the University of La Verne Men’s Volleyball team make its way to two final four appearances; ending his
college career with a National Championship in 1999.
Jeff went on to coach for the University of La Verne Men’s Volleyball team for the next 5 years, and helped
lead the university to two more final four appearances.
Jeff is a well accomplished and seasoned volleyball coach. Currently, he is the head coach at San Dimas High
school and for the last 7 years, he has successfully coached the Club West, 14-1’s team. Each of those years
his team qualified for Junior Olympics. His appearances have included a 2007, 5th place finish in the American
Division, and a 2008, Bronze medal finish in the National Division, and 2011, and finished 17th in the
open division. His teams have also done well in the region, finishing in the top 8 of SCVA in three of
the last four years.
Aside from his love of coaching, Jeff is also a devoted family man to his wife Tracy and his son Travis.
